So.. We got caught up in all the hype. We didn’t wait in line for days, or even hours.. but we did go to the Apple store and get iPhones. The joke now in the family is that I no longer need my husband…. I now have my main source of entertainment at my fingertips… and here’s why:

I can access the www. I don’t need to ask him any questions.. i can look them up! I can also access this site, and my forums… whenever i want.

I can  have my music, videos, and emails right there on my phone.

I now can call all of my girl friends and talk to them whenever I want… time zone permitting, of course.

It’s my digital camera! I don’t need to carry my other camera around all the time anymore… Of course, it’s not a 6MP camera.. but it’ll do in a pinch…

I have a bunch of pictures of my little girls on it… now I can show them off whenever I want.

All of this makes this a very valuable device… but.. there are a few things, besides the obvious things he can do the iPhone can’t… but I figure I need to keep him around anyway… Who else is going to pay the bill???

So.. Victoria was misbehaving, playing with the window blinds… I told her not to… i started getting my stern voice and here comes Alexandra… here’s how that discipline session went:

Me: VICTORIA!
A: VICTORIA!
M: Don’t touch the blinds!
A: BLINDS!
M: Victoria, get away from the window!
A: WINDOW!
M: If you don’t get away from the window, you’re gonna be in trouble!
A: TROUBLE!
M: One
A: ONE!
M: Two
A: TWO!
M: Three
A: THREE!
M: ok, come here!
A: HERE!

I pulled her down and Alexandra came over and tried to tell Victoria she was in trouble… I just started laughing… then they started laughing. So much for getting in trouble. The rest of the time was spent jumping on me.. and laughing so much. It was just too funny. How am I supposed to discipline my children when they make me laugh so hard? They really know how to work the system don’t they?
