Well… aside from the normal everyday life of taking care of my girls.. I also have a couple of places I love to hang out online and chat with my friends. One of the newest ones is a board called ParentWorks.net. It is a completely free online forum for parents who have children of all ages.
A very dear friend of mine suffered a tragedy in her family tat anyone would hope to never have to go through. Her 6mo son Bryant passed away due to SIDS about a month ago now, leaving behind his twin brother Finn, as well as other siblings. She frequented a twin parenting board that I also am a member of. But after this, she was saddened everytime she visited.
She wanted to come up with a place that everyone is welcome and where she could be comfortable. Where she could post her thoughts and feelings, and be among parents of singletons and twins and more! I am one of the lucky people to have been invited to her new site. Out of sadness this tremendous outpouring of love and support has risen. We hope to be able to bring together parents of all walks of life to a place where we can share our thoughts and experiences in parenting, have fun talking about the latest in entertainment, and even some computer stuff…. Moms and Dads are welcome & we hope to see you there!
